Tom Goldhare
Bio:
With a background in sculpture and a love for tactile materials and vibrant colours, Tom is exploring a new style that involves meticulously cutting, trimming, sanding and treating multi coloured perspex acrylic sheets and adjoining them to form his images. The seams between his puzzle-like pieces are bonded by a thick squeeze of paint which brings an irresistibly playful three dimensional effect.
The impressive craftmanship behind each piece is being challenged by the artists ambitions to produce larger and more complicated works as he draws from his recent experience of becoming a dad to twins and the consequently evoked memories of his own childhood.
